What You’ll Get to Do:

• Build and deploy machine learning-based risk models to enhance security for GoDaddy Payments.
• Engineer scalable and efficient data pipelines for fast model training and iteration.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and maintain data and ML infrastructure.
• Use a mix of quantitative and qualitative methods to generate insights and drive decisions.
• Support both risk operations and go-to-market strategy through applied data science.

Key Technical Skills:

Python, SQL, Spark, Machine Learning, Gradient Boosting, Logistic Regression, Decision Trees, Data Pipelines, Data Visualization, Data Cleaning

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience using ML techniques like gradient boosting, decision trees, and logistic regression.
• Strong coding proficiency in Python, SQL, and Spark.
• Proven ability in data extraction, cleaning, analysis, and visualization.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and translate data insights into action.
• Passion for fraud prevention, payment systems, and eCommerce.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or PhD) in a quantitative field like Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Economics.
• Experience working with unstructured data.
• Background in the credit card payments or financial services industry.
